Working Principle

The Permanent Overband Magnetic Separator is suspended above a conveyor belt. As bulk material passes beneath the separator, the powerful permanent magnetic field attracts ferrous contaminants from the material stream.

The built-in self-cleaning conveyor belt continuously carries the captured ferrous materials away from the magnetic zone and discharges them into a separate collection area. Clean, non-magnetic material continues along the conveyor without interruption.

Since the magnetic field is generated by permanent magnets, no electrical power is required for magnetic operation. Only the self-cleaning belt drive motor consumes power.
