Rectangular Lifting Magnet or Bipolar Lifting Magnet
A Rectangular Lifting Magnet, also known as a Bipolar Lifting Magnet, is an electromagnet specifically designed for lifting flat, long, and heavy ferrous materials such as steel plates, beams, channels, billets, slabs, structural sections, and fabricated components. Unlike circular lifting magnets, bipolar magnets produce two magnetic poles across their lifting face, providing a larger contact area and uniform magnetic holding force. This ensures stable lifting, reduced load deflection, and enhanced safety during material handling.

Working Principle
Rectangular Lifting Magnets operate using DC power supplied through a rectifier control panel. When energized, the insulated copper coil generates a strong bipolar magnetic field across the lifting surface. The magnetic field securely attracts ferrous materials, allowing them to be lifted and transported by cranes or hoists.
Once the material reaches its destination, the electrical supply is switched off, instantly releasing the load for safe unloading.
